When do I get paid?: Commission is worked out per calendar month. Once operations has reviewed and finalised a month, it is paid to the bank account on your profile. Add your bank details on the Profile page so nothing holds it up.
What counts as a sale?: A lead earns commission when MetaCar completes the sale or service for the customer you introduced. Operations records the date it completed, and that date decides which month it counts toward.
What if my customer already contacted MetaCar?: Then the lead does not earn commission. If two referrers send the same customer for the same enquiry, the earlier submission is the one that counts.
Do I need my customer’s permission?: Yes. You are sharing someone else’s name and phone number, so you confirm when submitting that they agreed to be contacted. Please ask them first.
Why do you need my IC or passport number?: Commission is income. Your identity document number identifies you for payment and lets MetaCar meet its tax reporting duties. Other referrers never see it.
Is the commission taxable?: Treat it as income. You are responsible for declaring it and for any tax due. We do not deduct tax on your behalf.
Is there a minimum before I get paid?: No minimum. If a month has commission in it, that month gets paid.
